Hey Ya'll!

Firstly, Happy Holidays to all! Christmas is my favorite holiday and I'm fully in the Christmas Spirit! I want to wish everybody a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!


I wanted to share with you all my love for jogger pants. They are so comfortable and versatile when it comes to styling. You can dress them up or dress them down and I love pairing them with a crop top. I own 5 pairs now and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. My recent pair are from forever 21 in the men's section. A couple of weeks ago I was on instagram and ran across @beautifulkendra page. She had a post about some jogger pants she had recently purchased from Forever 21. I always shop in the men's section at F21 so I instantly fell in love. My lovely husband ordered them for me (love that man) and when they arrived I couldn't wait to try them on. When I tried on the first pair I was in love. They hug all my curves in the right places and are very comfortable. The only downside to both pair is that I have big hips and a smaller waistline so they are kind of loose around my stomach but its nothing that the drawstring can't handle. I got a XL in both pair but in the red pair I could've used a L but the XL will have to make do.

I recommend these jogger pants to everybody. You will not be disappointed!

New Hair Cut

Hey Ya’ll!

I felt like I haven’t blogged in forever!  I wanted to share with you guys my new hairdo. One day I was just looking at my hair in the mirror and was thinking to myself that I needed a change. So I called my sister up (she’s a licensed cosmetologist) and told her I wanted to cut my hair. I decided on the tapered cut. I didn’t want to fade it but I wanted to cut the sides and back down just enough.

About 3 weeks ago I got my hair tapered. When I looked in the mirror I was like wow my hair is gone. I suffered from shrinkage a lot so when I twisted my hair it seemed like a TWA but when my hair was blow dried out it reached to about the end of my neck which was pretty decent length to me but I was ready for a change.

I’m so loving my cut right now!!! But I’m thinking about going shorter. I think I want a fade tapered cut!!!!  Hair is hair. It’ll grow back and if I don’t like it I have no problem slapping a wig on my head lol! My husband has no problem with all my hair changes. His answer is always “it’s your hair” so with that being said I’m thinking about cutting my hair more this week. Only time will tell but if I do cut it I’ll be sure to come with pictures.

Halloween Dress Up!

Hey Ya’ll!!

Hopefully, everyone is doing well. Me, I’m wonderful. No complaints from my end. Halloween was this past Thursday and my coworker came to me and another one of my co-worker a couple of weeks ago with the idea of us dressing up as a girl group for our job Halloween contest. The girl group she came up with was Salt N Pepa and of course Spin. After googling different pictures we finally came up with a look.

It was so much fun dressing up and being able to be Pepa for a day LoL. My co-workers and I got so many compliments on how well we nailed the look. It was so much fun I can’t wait to dress up next year.

Later on that night I went with my sister to take my nephew trick or treating. When he saw me he said “Monica you look pretty, you look like a rapper” lol! My nephew knows nothing about Salt N Pepa, he’s only 5 lol so it was evident that we nailed the look! Hopefully, when the results come back from the contest Salt, Pepa, and Spin will take 1^st place!

Fall Lippies!

Hey Ya’ll!

How has everybody been!?! I’ve been great. I’m happily married, blessed…Life is just good!!! I know yall are probably wondering how is the married life going, it’s going pretty good. I tell everybody that it’s really no different than if we were dating. I guess since we been together for so long (7 years) nothing has really changed, we’re just married now. It hasn’t been a major adjustment. The biggest adjustment has been us moving in together and getting used to how each other live. I do things totally different from Ryan so it’s like ok Monica it’s not about you anymore lol. But it’s all good. We’re in love with each other so we can get on each other nerves then bounce back to being lovey, dubby like nothing happened :)

         I wanted to do this blog post on my fav…Fall Lippies! I love everything about the Fall. The weather, the layering, the wearing of boots and scarfs, and above all Fall color lipsticks even though I wear dark color lipsticks all year round. Dark tones are my favorite. I love everything from dark purples to copper. I feel like they just bring out my face and the colors go with just about anything. Even when I have on no makeup, if I just throw on a dark color lipstick my face pops! 

So far I’m loving lipsticks from Milani Cosmetics and Maybelline. From Milani Cosmetics my favorite colors are Sangria, Chocolate Berries, and Double Espresso. From Maybelline I’m loving Been There, Midnight Plum, and Mauve Me. Both Milani and Maybelline are both pocket friendly which is a plus. I love nice things but im “cheap” also LoL so if I can buy great products that are pocket friendly I’m all for it.

I can’t elaborate enough on how wonderful Ryan and I wedding day was! It was a memorable event. I’ve expressed that I wanted to relive August 17^th, 2013 again but without all the wedding planning lol. That’s how great of a time we had!
