Baby Rynica 16 Week Update!

Hey Ya'll!!!

HOW IS BABY RYNICA?!?
Baby Rynica is doing great. I am currently 16 weeks, 1 day and I had my 3rd doctor's appt yesterday. It was so packed in there and all you saw were big belly's everywhere. It's like everybody is pregnant lol. I took like three naps waiting on the doctor but the visit was brief.  I asked a couple of questions and listened to the heartbeat. The heartbeat was at 154 so it went down a little but it was very strong so no worries. My next visit will be the gender reveal so I'm extra excited about that!!

HOW AM I DOING!?! 
I am doing great. I've gained 4 pounds so far and for the cravings I've been having I think that's pretty good for being 4 months. Overall, I'm doing pretty darn good. Being pregnant is still new to me so it's just kind of weird to get used too. I keep telling myself that a human is growing inside of me!


SYMPTOMS
Still no morning sickness, still have shortness of breath, my breakouts on my face have gotten better since using face wash on a regular basis but new symptoms have started. I get dizzy sometimes if I stand for long periods of time, saliva built-up is at an all time high, when I lay down for a long period my legs go numb and I get cramps, I get headaches, and now if I move or lay a certain way I may feel a little pain and pressure but nothing to go crazy about. My doctor said that my uterus is getting bigger so I just have to get used to the pains and kinks that come along with pregnancy.


BABY BUMP!?!
My baby bumps has grew and depending on what I wear you can see it really well! I can still fit my regular clothes but those bad boys starting to get a little tight so I may have to start clothes shopping. 

GENDER REVEAL/BABY SHOWER!?!
My next doctor's appt is April 15th and that's when we find out the gender. The gender will be that following Saturday and I am so excited! It's just going to be a gathering with my close friends and family. We don't know how we are going to reveal the gender just yet but we will probably reveal the name also.

Baby Shower -  we got the venue secured but haven't thought about a theme just yet. After the gender is revealed I'm sure the planning of the baby shower will be in full swing!

Pregnancy Update!

HOW IS BABY RYNICA?!? 
Baby Rynica is doing great. I had my 2nd doctors appt yesterday and Ryan and I heard the heartbeat for the 1st time. I could not stop smiling! Baby Rynica heartbeat was beating at 157 and my doctor said that was a great speed. It sounded like he or she was running a marathon...it was sooo cute!

HOW AM I DOING?!?
I am doing great. I asked my doctor which week is the start of the second trimester and she told me 12 weeks, 1 day is the start so I am proud to say that I am no longer in my 1st trimester and I can really tell the difference. My morning sickness is completely gone, I have more energy..... I just overall feel great. They say the 2nd trimester is the "honeymoon" trimester so I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest.

SYMPTOMS
My morning sickness is gone, I still get out of breath by doing the simplest things like talking, going up the steps, heck walking sometimes lol, when I go to bed at night my legs and feet sometimes go numb O_O, I'm starting to get unwanted pimples on my face, I can smell EVERYTHING, Ryan irks my nerves more easily :), I find myself waking up in the middle of the night because I be starving, ummmm that's about it

BABY BUMP?
At 12 weeks, 2 days my baby bump has made an appearance. Baby Rynica is ready to show out and show off lol. I cant wait until it gets warmer outside so I can wear cute sundresses and sandals. Hopefully, I wont be miserable with all the heat.

It's Getting Better...

Hey Ya'll!!

Happy Superbowl Sunday and welcome to week 9 + 5 days! Go Seahawks but I'll forever be HTTR!

MORNING SICKNESS...IS IT GONE???
My last post was about morning sickness and I'm happy to say I haven't had morning sickness since Thursday. What a relief. To finally not feel nauseous, to have an appetite again, to not vomit every time I eat, to finally feel normal again has been the greatest feeling. I felt so normal I did a little shopping yesterday and I haven't went shopping in a long time.I hope my morning sickness days are gone but I don't want to speak to soon. Morning sickness can pop up any day at any time so I'm just taking it day by day. But I can say this has truly been a great weekend thus far since I was morning sickness free.

SHOPPING
As I enter the last phase of my 1st trimester I've noticed that jeans do not feel comfortable to me anymore so I've been wearing leggings a lot lately. I have big hips and a butt so I'm not one of those females who wear leggings with my assets all out and about so I've been on the search for cute, long shirts/blouses. Yesterday, I went to two stores and I could not find any cute long shirts that would cover my assets in leggings. I'm 5'8 so I really have to make sure that shirts are long enough for me. As I was sitting in my car thinking of another store I could go to a store came to mind that I haven't shopped in for a very long time. I found myself pulling up to Cato's Fashions. Yes, Cato's lol!!!! I was like let me see what they have in here. To my surprise that have some really cute clothes! I was shocked lol. I was like wow why haven't I been shopping in here. Another plus was that they had the long shirts/blouses that I was looking for and their clothes didn't look "old fashioned". I shopped in the regular sizes for they have a plus size section also and their prices were average. Of course knowing me I hit up the clearance section and found some cute selections. I was so excited lol! 

They have some cute clothes but their shoes on the other hand are a little out of my style. I probably won't be purchasing any heels out of there but they did have some cute boots and flats. 

If your looking for some cute, inexpensive clothes then I would say go to Cato's. Some may laugh, some may call me wack for shopping at Cato's but I shop any and everywhere as long as the clothes are cute and in my price range then I'm all for it. Cato's will be in my lineup for future clothes as my baby bump continues to get bigger and cuter :)

Hey Ya’ll!

Happy Blessed Sunday! I hope all is great with everybody. So if you don’t know already, I’m pregnant…yayyyy LoL! Being pregnant is such a blessing but all the things that come with pregnancy I could do without.

MORNING SICKNESS AKA "ALL DAY SICKNESS"

Whyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! OMG I’ve been suffering from morning sickness. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and around 6 ½ weeks morning sickness hit me hard. Every morning for about a week and a half straight I was waking up and going straight to the bathroom to vomit. I was feeling nauseous all day and eating certain foods would make me vomit also.

Today, I am 8 weeks, 5 days and morning sickness has struck again. Everything I ate yesterday came back up and currently I’m in the bed because I feel so nauseous. I have to partake in bedside Baptist today because I just can’t get myself together for church :(.

I know in the end all this morning sickness will be worth it but whyyyyyyy me lol! My sister said she had no morning sickness with my nephew so why couldn’t that non morning sickness bug hit me but ah well. Everyone says I’m having a girl because old myth states that having a lot of morning sickness means you’re having a girl but we shall see! #teamhealthybabygirl

If ya’ll have any remedies to help ease morning sickness please share because I need it!!

TO CLEAR THE RECORD

Ya’ll, Rynica will NOT be the baby name lol. My poor husband got clowned because some of his friends thought Rynica was really the baby name. Rynica…really! For those that don’t know Rynica comes from RYan and MoNICA and its pronounced Ry-Ne-Ka. Rynica came about when we got married so it’s only fitting to call the baby “Baby Rynica”!

 ANYTHING ELSE

Our first prenatal appt went great! My husband was with me and the baby and I are healthy and doing great. It was so exciting to see our baby come up on the monitor screen during our first ultrasound. Baby Rynica little heart was beating at a pace of 160 and I was like omg I can't believe there is a baby inside of me! Ryan was grinning from ear to ear and kept yelling "That's my boy" lol even though we all know it's a girl...haha. In 4 weeks we get to hear the heartbeat so we can't wait for that.

Other than morning sickness my pregnancy is good. I still have some fatigue and my cravings are real lol. I have a little baby bump and hopefully starting this week I want to incorporate some gym time into my daily routines if my fatigue allows me too. Tuesday, I will be entering month 3 so let's hope this morning sickness goes away!

Baby Rynica is on its way!!!

Hey Ya’ll!

Welp! I guess I sipped some of that water, that pregnancy water because I am with child, YES I AM PREGNANT!!!!

WHEN I FOUND OUT

I found out I was pregnant on December 27^th at 4:30am lol. My period was one day late and on that morning I woke up because I had to use the bathroom and something told me to take a test so I did. As I was sitting there waiting on the test results my eyes instantly shot open as I noticed the little plus sign appear. I was in total shock. I only had one test so I didn’t want to get my hopes up but all these thoughts started going through my head. Am I really pregnant? Is a human being really growing inside of me? Am I ready? Is this the right time?

HOW DID I TELL MY HUSBAND

On December 27^th, after finding out I was pregnant around 4:30am I could not fall back asleep. I was too excited. I thought about putting the test in a gift bag and presenting it to my husband as a present but my husband was taking too long to wake up lol. Around 8am I tapped my husband on the shoulder and was like wake up. He looked at me all crazy and said “WHAT”! I showed him the positive pregnancy test and his eyes lit up. He said “Are you really pregnant” and I nodded my head yes. That man smiled so hard and his dimples were so deep that it instantly made my heart melt. He kept saying “oh shit” “oh shit” “I’m going to be a daddy” “I’m going to be a daddy” that all I could was laugh. Let’s just say he was overly excited!!! Soon after he ran to the store to get more pregnancy tests just to verify I was pregnant lol. 

WERE WE TRYING

Ummm sort of. It was one of those if we do we do and if we don't we don't but Ryan and I decided that it was time for us to TRY for a child in October, 2014. I had been off birth control since July 18, 2014 but we never expected for it to happen so fast.  I downloaded the ovulation app called Pink Pad and the rest is history. It took us 2 months to conceive after really following the ovulation process. 

 

EARLY SYMPTOMS

Leading to me finding out I was pregnant the early symptoms I was experiencing were constipation, aching breast, shortness of breath, my face breaking out, and crazy/ weird dreams.

Waiting To Exhale

Hey Ya’ll!

I hope all is great. 11 days until Christmas but who’s counting lol. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I just love everything that comes with it. Family time, Christmas decorations, gifts, giving back, reflecting on the real reason of Christmas, and Christmas movies of course. I just love it!

This weekend was an exciting one for me because it was my cousins and I annual “Waiting To Exhale Party”. This is a gathering where all my female cousins come together, eat dinner, exchange gifts, and just exhale and have girl talk. My grandma had 11 kids so I have A LOT of cousins and we were all raised very close so even though we all are grown and have our separate lives we still try to do things together. I love our waiting to exhale parties because we just let loose and talk about any and everything. This year it was held at my place so I kicked my husband out and brought the girls in for a sleep over. We had dinner at the Olive Garden then came back to my place for drinks, gift exchange, and girl talk.

We had so much fun that I actually forgot to take pics..oops!. When we get together we always have a great time but our waiting to exhale parties are extra special for all of us and I can’t wait to do it all over again next year around this time!
